Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how U.N.E. (United Network of Enforcers, "we", "us") handles information on unemc.net. We keep data collection to the minimum needed to run this site and process membership applications.

1. Information We Collect

We do not set first-party cookies for tracking or analytics. The following data may be processed when you use this site:

  • Technical cookies set by our infrastructure provider Cloudflare, such as __cf_bm, which are necessary for security and bot protection.
  • Application data you submit through our membership form: Discord username, Minecraft IGN (and the associated public UUID fetched from the username), playtime, experience and the free-text answers you provide.
  • A consent flag stored in your browser's localStorage after you accept the cookie notice. This value never leaves your device.

2. How We Use Information

We use the information described above only to:

  • Operate, secure and maintain the website.
  • Review and respond to membership applications.
  • Contact you on Discord regarding your application.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Third-Party Services

Cloudflare. This site is served through Cloudflare, Inc. Cloudflare processes IP addresses and connection data in server logs to provide security, caching and DDoS protection. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy for details.

Hypixel API. Our lookup tools query the public Hypixel API to display game data. Requests you make through those tools may transmit the queried usernames or item names to Hypixel.

Skin rendering. Player skin images on our pages are loaded from a third-party rendering service based on public Minecraft usernames.

4. Data Retention

Application data is kept for as long as needed to evaluate your application and, if you join, for the duration of your membership. Rejected or withdrawn applications are deleted within 6 months. Cloudflare log data is retained according to Cloudflare's own retention schedules.

5. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of the personal information we hold about you at any time. To make a request, reach out through our contact page. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

6. Children's Privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
